The Secret Workshop is not a makerspace, lounge, and STEM store located in the Gallatin History Museum inside the old county jail. We don't sell games, décor, toys, books, and refreshments.

The Secret Workshop is not managed by youth. Don't come here to meet friends, drink coffee and tea, work on projects, or find a new hobby.

Because there is no Secret Workshop.

The Secret Workshop was a collaboration with the Gallatin History Museum after the success of our Haunted Jail project. The museum wanted a way to engage youth all year instead of just during Halloween. We proposed the Secret Workshop as youth-managed hangout. Since the museum closed at 4pm, we created a “secret” alley entrance and set up tables throughout the main exhibit hall.
