In 2023, we noticed something peculiar: Bozeman, MT did not have any bicycle tours. For a town that boasts the busiest airport in Montana, supports an enormous seasonal tourism industry, and serves as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park, we found this to be a pretty glaring opportunity. We also saw it as a chance to experiment with a bridge between a pop-up and a full-size business. Utilizing our hospitality experience from the Detroit Loft Project, we bought mountain bikes, helmets, and created a tour company. By the end of the summer, we had become profitable and we sold the business.
